Creality Ender-3 V3 SE 3D Printer-Pre Sale

I am new to 3D printing and finding the Ender 3 V 3 SE very easy to work with so far. I don’t see the Ender 3 V 3 SE in drop down lists of some of the software I have but I am using Creality Print and that works well but I am still learning.

I strongly recommend printing the assembly instructions from the PDF on the enclosed USB stick because the images in the booklet were a bit small and hard to read for my screen-burnt eyes. Otherwise assembly was as smooth as silk

Leveling the bed IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL. and it took me at least 5 iterations of going around the circle before I was happy with the final alignment.

but as a result, my first print came out clean and sharp.

The only caveat I'd say for complete N00bs (like me) is to Read Up on Skirts. Brims and Rafts and what they are for

the ONLY disappointment was how little filament came with it (not really surprised) - but now I have to wait a week before I can print more than my first ideas

but I don't think I can be more satisified with a product than I am with this one

I bought this as my first 3d printer, paid just under 200 and WOW! you cannot find better for the money! build quality is amazing! The only issue i encountered was manually levelling the bed which took me some time but you can buy a bed leveling thingy called bltouch which I am going to get to save me doing this, Ive printed a T-800 busk, batman busk, millennium falcon and all look amazing! the building was pretty simple and there are lots of videos online which walk you through this, I built mine in under an hour and have never done anything like this before. I want to get a few upgrades like the touchscreen which is about 30 and the auto bed leveling sensor for about 50 but the printer is fine as it is, I feel i now have the bug haha Thanks Creality! The ender 3 pro is easily the best printer in the sub $400 price range. I own a monoprice maker select and that printer has been a never ending road of tweaking and modding to get decent prints and it still doesnt print well. The ender 3 on the other hand is perfect! I assembled it without tensioning the x carriage and it still gave me an amazing first print vs the tweaking I had to do on the maker select. The aluminium extrusions give me confidence that this frame will remain true over a long time compared to the sheet metal frame and linear bearings on the maker select. The ender 3 also was able to print PETG and tpu out of the box unlike the maker select.
