Great Deal

Bought this to bring my old original CR-10 up to more modern standards, it's the perfect product for it as it is a direct fit into the box where the old board was and while it takes a little fiddling with Firmware to make it work, it does work perfectly. Also adds the ability to add a CR-Touch bed levelling probe and a filament run out sensor to my reliable old beast of a printer.

Creality Ended 5 Pro Upgrade to 4.2.7 Mainboard

Very disappointing that Creality do not maintain updated software (Marlin) to support upgraded board. Basically you are on your own if you want to use the newer Marlin features. DO NOT UPGRADE unless you are confident to compile your own software.

V4.2.7 Mainboard

Firstly, it would be good if I actually had the thing. It has not been delivered yet. The biggest problem is getting some 100% complete instructions on how to write the VS code for it with a BLTOUCH. Everything I read on the net is incomplete, does not work, has much of the required instructions missing. Most of these are written with the obvious belief that everyone holds several computer degrees in programming and do not cater for us amature users.
